Miguel Oliva, Global Portfolio and Marketing Manager, Transformer Business at Hitachi Energy

Miguel is currently leading the Global Portfolio and Marketing of the transformer business at Hitachi Energy. With over 25 years in the transformer industry, he has extensive experience in engineering, technology, product management, business development and marketing and sales. He is the co‐author of several transformer-related whitepapers and articles and has actively participated and cooperated with leading electric utilities and industries in developing innova-tive transformer applications. Miguel represented Spain at the CIGRE A2 Transformer Committee from 2004 until 2014. He holds a master’s degree in industrial engineering from the University of Seville and an executive MBA from San Telmo Business School.
