Transformer Condition Assesment I

Course Program Type
Professional Certificate / Continuing Education Program
Course Program Duration
7 e-lessons (sequential), equivalent to 7 hours of guided learning and 6 hours of independent study (6 hour recommended.)
Course Program Purpose
The TCA program aims to provide participants with the theoretical knowledge, diagnostic competencies, and analytical skills required to perform structured condition assessments of power transformers in accordance with IEEE Standards as well as recognized international standards (IEC, IEEE) and asset management frameworks (ISO 55000).

Primary focus: End-to-end assessment process
Approach: Holistic, structured, decision-oriented
Content emphasis: Data review, inspections, interpretation, risk, actions
Learning outcome: Consistent decision-making framework
Best suited for: Asset managers, planners, decision-makers
Typical use case: Fleet management and lifecycle decisions
Complementarity: Defines when and why to apply tests
