The Call for Papers for CIRED 2027 is now open, with the final submission deadline set for 14 September 2026.
The 29th edition of CIRED will take place in Stockholm (Sweden) on 14-17 June 2027, bringing together more than 3,000 experts from across the global electricity distribution sector. Utilities, researchers, manufacturers, consultants, network operators, technology providers, and decision-makers will gather to exchange knowledge and discuss the future of power distribution systems.
Recognised as one of the leading international platforms in the field, CIRED 2027 will once again feature:
- Technical paper sessions presenting cutting-edge research and practical case studies

- A major international exhibition showcasing the latest technologies and solutions for electricity distribution
CIRED 2027 will provide a major international platform for technical exchange on key topics shaping the sector, including grid modernisation, flexibility, resilience, digitalisation, asset management, distributed energy resources, electrification, and the integration of new technologies.
Authors are invited to submit their latest research, operational experience, and innovative solutions for inclusion in the conference programme and proceedings.
