Russia, St. Petersburg: Power Machines – Toshiba. High-voltage transformers (PMTT) has been awarded with a contract for the manufacture and supply of a three-phase back-up transformer for Boguchanskaya Hydro Power Plant.
The transformer will be the most powerful three-phase transformer manufactured by PMTT, with a capacity rating of 400 MVA and the voltage class of 220 kV, the manufacturer said in a statement.
Boguchanskaya HPP is operated by RusHydro.
The transformer is scheduled for delivery in August 2017.
