India, Rajasthan: Atlanta Electricals Ltd has secured a $20 M (₹190-crore) contract to supply transformers to Rajasthan Rajya Vidyut Prasaran Nigam Ltd (RVPN).

In an official statement, the company said it received a notification of award from RVPN for delivering 53 units of 50 MVA, 132/33kV power transformers. These units will also include nitrogen injection fire prevention and extinguishing systems (NIFPES), bringing the total order value to approximately $20 M (₹190 crore).

The agreement is structured as a rate contract valid for two years, with the possibility of extension as per the bid terms. The supply will be carried out in line with RVPN’s technical and commercial requirements outlined in the tender.

Commenting on the development, Niral Patel, Chairman and Managing Director of Atlanta Electricals, said the order reflects the continued confidence of a long-standing client and highlights the company’s strong execution track record. He added that the deal will help improve capacity utilisation at manufacturing facilities and deepen engagement with state utilities, supporting the modernisation of India’s power grid.

The order further boosts Atlanta Electricals’ position in the domestic transmission sector and underlines its ability to deliver advanced, high-capacity transformers to major state-run utilities.
