India, Mumbai: Atlanta Electricals Limited has announced new transformer supply orders worth a total of $13 M (₹116 crore), covering both domestic and international projects. The contracts mark a significant milestone in the company’s growth and expanding role in India’s renewable energy infrastructure.
The largest domestic order, valued at $6.3 M (₹56 crore), covers the supply of six 220 / 33–33 kV dual-secondary transformers ranging from 160 MVA to 192 MVA. These units will be deployed at solar pooling substations in Bikaner (Rajasthan) and Bijapur (Karnataka).
In a separate order worth $4.5 M (₹40 crore), Atlanta Electricals will supply six 80 MVA 220 / 33 kV transformers for a solar pooling substation project in Pugal, Bikaner. Both projects support India’s expanding solar generation capacity and ongoing transition toward cleaner energy.
The company also secured its first major international contract, valued at $2.3 M (₹20 crore), for the supply of two 63 MVA 132 / 33 kV and two 30 MVA 33 / 11 kV transformers. The order represents a key step in Atlanta Electricals’ efforts to enter the global transformer market.
