Croatia / Sweden: Dalekovod d.d. has been selected by Svenska kraftnät, Sweden’s national electricity transmission company, to construct a new 400 kV transmission line on the Odensala–Kappetorp section near Stockholm. The decision follows an international tender process in which Dalekovod’s bid met all evaluation criteria.

Valued at more than €100 M, the project involves dismantling the existing 220 kV line and building a new 400 kV line along the same 26-km route. It also includes the reconstruction and construction of a new 10-km section of the 400 kV transmission line between Odensala and Skoby.

The project, which will run from 2026 to early 2030, represents a significant contribution to Sweden’s ongoing grid expansion and modernisation programme, aimed at increasing the reliability and capacity of its high-voltage transmission network.
