India, New Delhi: GE Vernova has signed an agreement with Enfinity Global to supply and install 43 onshore wind turbines for the Fatehgarh Wind Farm in Rajasthan.
The 3.8 MW–154 m turbines will provide a total capacity of 163.4 MW, with deliveries expected to begin in the fourth quarter of 2026.
The project supports India’s plans to expand renewable generation and work towards 500 GW of renewable energy capacity. It also comes as the country targets 100 GW of installed wind capacity by 2030.
“The 3.8 MW–154 m turbine is designed to deliver efficiency, reliability and strong performance for India’s wind conditions,” said Deepak Maloo, General Manager of GE Vernova’s Onshore Wind business in India.
The turbines will be produced at GE Vernova’s manufacturing facility in Pune, which has an annual capacity of up to 1,500 MW. The company will also draw on its Bengaluru Technology Centre and Vadodara blade plant.
Enfinity Global has a 4 GW renewable energy portfolio in India, including approximately 300 MW already in operation across solar, wind and energy storage.
Sandip Agarwal, CEO India at Enfinity Global, said the partnership combines technology, innovation and local market expertise to support India’s energy transition.
GE Vernova currently has around 5 GW of locally installed onshore wind capacity, and the latest order further strengthens its position in India’s growing wind market.
