Croatia, Zagreb: KONČAR Group has completed the acquisition of a majority stake in NEOS d.o.o., one of Croatia’s software development companies. NEOS specialises in digital solutions for the energy, telecommunications, financial, and public sectors and has built a reputation over 20 years as a trusted provider of advanced technologies. The deal was finalised on 2 January 2026, when KONČAR – Digital Ltd. assumed management control, officially bringing NEOS into the KONČAR Group.
The NEOS team, now over 150 experts strong, joins one of the largest industrial groups in the region. The company’s founders and key managers will remain actively involved to ensure continuity and further growth. Denis Burmaz, Executive Director of KONČAR’s Digital Solutions and Platforms Business Area, becomes President of the NEOS Management Board, supported by co-founder Davorin Capan as Board Member.
NEOS is recognised for developing business applications, cloud solutions, and advanced analytics systems that allow efficient management of complex infrastructure, optimisation of business processes, and real-time processing of large data volumes, particularly in energy-intensive industries.
For KONČAR, the acquisition is a major step in strengthening its digital business segment. By combining NEOS’s expertise with KONČAR’s industrial footprint and market reach, the Group aims to create a strong platform for high-value solutions for both domestic and international markets.
Burmaz said: “This strategically important acquisition expands our competencies and portfolio, enhancing our capabilities in software solutions for critical infrastructure while responding to growing demand for integrated systems that unify operational and business functionalities.”
