Poland, Łódź: R&S Group Holding AG has confirmed steady progress on its plan to double power transformer manufacturing capacity under the “ZREW” brand in Łódź, Poland.
$31 M (CHF25 M) investment, spread over two years, will see a new facility operational by the end of 2026, expanding production to 160 MVA and 220 kV. Backed by public aid in the Łódź Special Economic Zone, the project will also create up to 200 jobs for technicians, engineers, sales staff, and line managers.
The expansion supports the energy sector’s transition to renewables, offering customers greater capacity, advanced technology, and improved service reliability.
CEO Eduardo Terzi said the project reflects the company’s commitment to innovation and sustainable growth, while Grzegorz Sołtysiak, Managing Director, highlighted its regional impact through job creation and technical advancement.
