China, Ningbo: Ningbo Samsung Electric Co., Ltd. announced on 23 September that its wholly owned subsidiary, Ningbo Aux Smart Technology Co., Ltd., has won a bid for a US data centre energy storage oil-immersed transformer project.
The contract is valued at $132 M (CNY 885 M), representing 6.16 % of Samsung Electric’s audited 2025 revenue.
The company said the project marks an important expansion of its US power distribution business into the data centre segment and is expected to contribute positively to future operating results.
