France, Rueil-Malmaison: Schneider Electric, a multinational company specialising in energy management and automation systems, has announced two senior leadership appointments effective 1 October 2025.
Gwenaelle Avice Huet has been named Executive Vice President of Industrial Automation, while Laurent Bataille will take on the role of Executive Vice President of Europe Operations.
Avice Huet has led Schneider Electric’s Europe Operations since 2023, overseeing the region’s business portfolio and advancing the company’s sustainability and digital transformation goals. She joined Schneider Electric in 2021 as Chief Strategy and Sustainability Officer, following senior leadership roles at ENGIE, including CEO of ENGIE North America and Executive Vice President of the Global Renewable Business.
In her new role, she will continue to serve on the Executive Committee and focus on advancing automation and control solutions powered by artificial intelligence, the internet of things, and digital tools.
Bataille, who currently heads France Operations, has been with Schneider Electric for over two decades. His previous positions include leadership roles in the Digital Energy, Ecobuilding, and Solar divisions, as well as in Industrial and Aerospace activities within the Customer Sensors & Technologies unit.
As Executive Vice President of Europe Operations, he will continue to sit on the Executive Committee and lead Schneider Electric’s transformation strategy across the region.
