India, Pune: Sukrut Electric has completed a change in ownership following the fulfilment of all conditions precedent of a transaction finalised on 16 December 2025, according to a statement shared by Quality Power.
The handover marked the transfer of leadership from Machinefabrik Reinhausen to a new joint venture formed by Quality Power and Yash Highvoltage Limited. Representatives of the outgoing management, Holger Michalka and Johannes Altmann of Machinefabrik Reinhausen, travelled to Pune to formally address Sukrut employees and complete the transition process.
The new joint venture was represented during the handover by Bharanidharan Pandyan and Keyur Shah, managing directors of Quality Power and Yash Highvoltage Limited respectively. The meeting with employees focused on continuity and the preservation of Sukrut’s existing engineering capabilities, customer relationships, and workforce.
According to the statement, the transition was presented as a transfer of responsibility and long-term direction rather than a closure of the company’s previous chapter. The next phase for Sukrut is expected to focus on further developing technology capabilities and creating long-term value for customers, employees, and partners, building on the company’s existing legacy.
