India: Tata Consultancy Services has strengthened its long-standing relationship with Siemens Energy AG by signing two new Memorandums of Understanding on 27 April 2026. The agreements, also involving Siemens Energy India Limited, focus on advancing AI-driven industrial transformation and improving intelligent operations, while supporting TCS’s HyperVault AI data centre initiative.

The partnership is structured through two complementary agreements covering IT services, digital innovation, and industrial AI. It combines TCS’s strengths in AI, data, and engineering with Siemens Energy’s expertise in power generation, electrification, and grid technologies.

Under the IT services component, TCS will remain a preferred partner, helping Siemens Energy build a more agile, secure, and cost-efficient digital backbone. The collaboration will also focus on ongoing operational improvements.

In AI and factory modernisation, Siemens Energy will leverage TCS’s capabilities in areas such as digital twins, predictive analytics, smart manufacturing, and improved integration between operational and information technologies. Intelligent vision systems will also play a role.

Additionally, Siemens Energy India Limited will support the development of AI-ready infrastructure for HyperVault in India, including power systems, grid solutions, and digital platforms.

The agreements build on a partnership spanning more than 20 years, aiming to move from early-stage AI experimentation to large-scale deployment across business and operational processes.
