UK, Norhtern Ireland: Trans Global Projects has delivered 17,000 cubic metres of transformers from Europe and North America to a power generation project in Northern Ireland, UK.

According to TGP, the equipment included some of the heaviest loads ever moved overland in Northern Ireland, requiring detailed coordination with local authorities and months of advance planning.

The company organised shipments from several locations across Europe and North America, all routed through the port of Belfast. The project involved four heavy lifts of up to 400 t each, as well as four dedicated vessel charters, completed within a six-month period.

TGP’s engineering teams carried out extensive route planning, which included bridge assessments and any necessary modifications to ensure safe transport of the oversized cargo.

The operation highlights the complexity of moving large energy infrastructure components and the level of preparation required for safe delivery and installation.
