In the face of unprecedented change in user preferences, market volatility and supply chain disruption, the focus has shifted from growth in Power Transformers to cost containment and risk mitigation, whilst experiencing an increase in Distribution Transformers and leveraging optimization opportunities.

Transformer sourcing teams are uniquely positioned to serve these pressures—helping businesses contain costs, mitigate risk, and maximize Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) impact.  The Power Transformer Introduction session will help the learner improve strategic sourcing, with Transformer Category Management as a way of driving and delivering value, growth, and innovation.

Upon attending this lesson, the learner will be able to:

  1. Define the purpose and objective of the Power Transformer Sourcing team.
  2. Identify the sourcing stakeholder group and set up introduction sessions.
  3. Explain how to set up the Power Transformer sourcing governance approach.
